This is undoubtedly Black Panther‘s week, and I still haven’t seen Black Panther, but I’m sure it’s good. But what’s good in comparison to an otherwise great slate of great films like Buckaroo Banzai (which unfortunately is now retroactively lame due to it being referenced in Ready Player One)? Or Aki Kaurismaki’s latest, The Other Side of Hope? Or Andrei Tarkovsky’s swan song The Sacrifice? Or, uh, K-9? The Kenneth Lonergan-penned Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle>? The bad Kicking and Screaming? Problem Child 2, but not 1? Fucking The Wizard? Okay, nevermind, all hail Marvel.
