I think I’m going to suspend my netflix account for a day in protest when this comes out. That’s more measurable than simply not watching it.

“Someone give Terry Crews a good movie to star in…” What does it take, Hollywood people? He managed to out-Idiocracy Idiocracy, of all things, so he gets cast in dreck like this? Again and again with him: he’s got young-Val-Kilmer levels of charisma, exquisite comic timing, body like a professional athlete–so when he’s one of the faces in Expendables 3, they shoot him in the rear and sideline him for half the movie so we can watch Ronda Rousey glare. The only positive I can say about Adam Sandler at this point is that he appears to be one of the friendliest guys you could ever work with. Just about every interview I read about him says that he’s an amazingly nice and cool guy to hang out with and is willing to give people chances and help them out and so forth. Unfortunately, he has the wrong ideas for making movies and some of the people he hangs out with are the wrong ones (Swardson, Schneider, Kevin James, etc).

I think the only Adam Sandler “comedy” I was pleasantly surprised by was Big Daddy. I remember saying as I walked out of the theater, “That wasn’t so bad.” The others I either haven’t seen or were pretty awful. Also, I’ve never found people falling down or getting hit by things to be all that funny.
