True, but in that case, it seemed they were pulling a Corman or an Asylum and cashing in on a thing that their competition was doing.  Also, the market for CG animation was more of a sure thing back then.  I don;t know...you&#039;re probably right, unless there was some sort of legal issue, especially with the involvement of McCarthy and Murray.]]></description>

It doesn&#039;t sound very good, but I suspect it was hoping to appeal to kids and Gen X/Y fans of the Ghostbusters film.  And since the long development process for this kind of film means that it was probably conceived 4 years ago, the possibility of a new Ghostbusters movie seemed unlikely.]]></description>
