New on DVD and Blu-Ray

This week, we have releases of Imitation of Life (not that one) and The Man Who Fell to Earth (not that one), plus long-awaited Blu-Rays of Fritz Lang’s Rancho Notorious and Jacques Rivette’s The Gang of Four. There’s just two new-release movies: She Said, whose marketing hook of “Spotlight but not as good” somehow wasn’t enough to get people in theaters, and Russell Crowe’s directorial debut feature Poker Face, which I’m told is very bad but does contain the following line, “My daughter’s about to be hit by a train and there’s nothing I can do about it because I am the train.”
