Alright, Record Club! Unless I’m missing something, we’ve worked our way through all the new albums from artists we’ve previously covered, so that means that it’s time to start looking longer-term. Below, I’ve copied the schedule that Matthew Crowe created near the beginning of the year, and I’m thinking we’ll just go ahead and stick with that unless I hear major dissent.
You’ll notice that I don’t have dates attached to any of the records; I’ve found that I’m already really bad at sticking to schedules for this feature (you may have picked up on the fact that I missed both Monday and Friday last week), and the school year hasn’t even started yet. So rather than fill you all with false hope and campaign promises, I’m just going to be honest here and say that the progress through this itinerary is entirely dependent on when I get to the records. The goal is to have three a week (ideally on Monday/Wednesday/Friday), but I guess we’ll see how it actually goes. Regardless, though, this is the order that I’ll be writing up the records, so you can bank on that.
(P.S. I realize this is all a little redundant with what some of us have already discussed, but I just wanted to have a more recent post bringing everyone up to speed on where this feature is going.)
