New on DVD and Blu-Ray

This week can say that it offers the film that might’ve irreparably changed the film industry, though the film in question being Trolls: World Tour may eliminate some of that noteworthiness. Otherwise, not a ton else to show for. Kino gives us the latest entry in the “Ken Loach makes you miserable” sweepstakes, Sorry We Missed You, Arrow gives us Mike Hodges’ underseen supernatural thriller Black Rainbow, and Criterion gives us the original The War of the Worlds. None of these films contain trolls, though War of the Worlds does implicitly involve a world tour.
