New on DVD and Blu-Ray

Warner continues its rate of one Stanley Kubrick film upgraded to 4K per year, this year’s entry being Full Metal Jacket. Perhaps sensing that this was the week for reissues of movies where bald men scream young men into submission, Sony is releasing Whiplash on 4K. If any such thing also happens in Michelangelo Antonioni’s The Passenger or Lawrence Kasdan’s I Love You to Death, please let me know so I can take this bit to the finish line.
