This should be a lackluster week with one major standout title, but it’s not even that, because Kino managed to fuck up their Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia Blu-Ray by (mistakenly?) using an older transfer rather than the new 4K transfer they advertised as being part of the release (one released by Arrow Video in the UK). At least their Blu-Ray of the pioneering American independent film Little Fugitive appears to be in order. Otherwise, there’s Criterion releasing the landmark Senegalese film Touki Bouki outside the confines of the first Martin Scorsese World Cinema Project box set. There’s also Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot.
