A strong week with one earlyish release-of-the-year contender, Criterion’s box set of the complete works of legendary Black queer director Marlon Riggs. Not too far behind it is Oscilloscope’s Blu-Ray and 4K restoration of Tom Noonan’s long-unavailable directorial debut What Happened Was… And then there’s Kino with a line of titles (CB4, Career Opportunities, Half Baked) that can only be described as a 2000s Comedy Central programming block come to life.
